A pot line rectiformer scheme with hybrid-shunt active power filter

چکیده

Passive harmonic filters (PHF) are commonly used in conventional potline rectifier transformers (Rectiformer) schemes of aluminum smelters to improve the power quality and reduce distortions an acceptable level. However, changes operating conditions system configuration affect performance capability PHF attenuating harmonics. In this paper, a Rectiformer scheme with hybrid-shunt active filter (SAPF) is instead compared other applied smelter terms attenuation capability. The SAPF modeled simulated using MATLAB/Simulink. A control strategy suitable for load behavior furnished paper SAPF. simulation results reveal superiority proposed as ALBA pot line (PL) 6 schemes.
